Alder Graduate School of Education (Alder) is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (), 1080 Marina Village Parkway, Suite 500, 510.748.9001. The 2024 WSCUC team report is available , and the most recent letter notifying Alder of the Commission’s Accreditation of Alder’s program is available .

Alder Graduate School of Education (Alder) has received institutional and program approval by the (CCTC). These approvals allow Alder to sponsor educator preparation programs in California.

 

On December 9, 2022, the CCTC granted Alder full institutional approval to offer the following credential programs: Preliminary Multiple Subjects, Preliminary Single Subjects (English, Social Science, Science, Mathematics, World Language), and Preliminary Education Specialist (Mild to Moderate Support Needs). On August 10, 2023, the CCTC granted Alder institutional approval to offer a pathway leading to a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish. The letter outlining this approval is linked .

 

On October 31, 2024, the CCTC granted Alder institutional approval to recommend its graduates for the California Teachers of English Learners Authorization (CTEL). The letter outlining this approval is linked .
